Newsy is a multi-source news organization who is concerned with the reporting on reporting. Whereas most newsrooms measure their success on the impact of breaking stories, Newsy takes a step back in order to examine why a newsworthy event is just that. Essentially, they want to provide as much backstory in order to give the viewer a well-rounded takeaway on a given current event.

As a digital content producer, I write edit, shoot and create the videos that serve as daily content for the website. While most of the production I do is relatively similar across the board, my writing is focused on examining issues in entertainment-based mediums, most of them musical in nature.
